Champagne Heritage

Owner and Winemaker Daniel Le Brun hails from 12 generations of champagne vignerons

Daniel grew up on his family vineyard and winery in Monthelon in the Champagne region of Epernay, where the first record of his family planting grapes dates back to 1684.

Isabelle, his sister, is custodian of the original press which has been in the family since 1791, a date that is carved into its wooden frame. She has meticulously restored the winery, transforming it into a boutique bed and breakfast, with the heirloom press now safely displayed behind glass for guests to admire.

Today Daniel’s family still produce Champagne under the brands Champagne Jorez Le Brun, Champagne Glavier Le Brun, and Champagne Alexandre Le Brun.
